Data controller

Personal data processed

Identity and contact data (name, email); transaction security data (encrypted password, hashed session key, note-lock verification digest, IP address, sign-in records); location data (the name, address and coordinates of places you save, and your current position read once only when you ask for it) and the content you create (tasks, notes, labels and attached files).

Purposes

To create your membership, provide the service and features such as Places and file attachments, keep your account secure and support you when you ask for help.

Legal basis

Processing relies on article 5/2-c (necessary for the performance of a contract) and article 5/2-f (legitimate interest, account security) of the KVKK. Location data is processed only through actions you start yourself (saving a place, «Use my location»).

Transfers

Your personal data is kept on our own server in Türkiye and is not shared with third parties unless legally required. However, some features send data to service providers located abroad when used: your IP address and the viewed area to the OpenStreetMap Foundation when map images load; search text or coordinates (through our server, without your IP address) to the OpenStreetMap search service; your IP address to YouTube (Google) or Vimeo when you play a video; and the related information to Google when you sign in with Google and when the site's typefaces load. Retention

Data is kept for the duration of your membership; sign-in records for at most 12 months and the map search cache for at most 30 days. Deleting your account deletes your tasks, notes, places, labels and files.

Your rights under article 11

You may learn whether your data is processed, request information, ask for correction or deletion, object to processing, and claim compensation for damages. You can also export your data and delete your account directly from the panel. Send other requests to destek@v3x.org; they are answered within 30 days at the latest.
